We will offer solutions relevant to those lacking the knowledge or resources to prepare plans and procedures for risk mitigation, responding to threats, and other emergencies.

• Resilience: Resilience is the ability to bounce back from adversity and continue functioning physically and mentally under stress. In situations involving high amounts of risk, resilience helps individuals and communities cope with challenges, uncertainty, and loss. It involves maintaining physical capabilities, developing coping mechanisms, and understanding boundaries.

• Self-Reliance: Being self-reliant means having the ability to take care of oneself and others without relying solely on external assistance. This includes having basic survival skills, such as finding food and water, building shelter, and navigating unfamiliar terrain. It also involves developing a strong sense of self-confidence and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

• Readiness: In the Christian context, readiness often refers to spiritual preparedness. It involves being spiritually alert, aware of one's relationship with God, and actively engaged in spiritual practices. This aligns with biblical passages that encourage believers to be "always ready" (Matthew 24:44), to "watch and pray" (Mark 14:38), and to be “fitted with readiness” (Ephesians 6:1).

• Resilience: Resilience in a Christian context is rooted in faith in God's sovereignty and goodness, even in the face of adversity. It is the belief that God is working all things together for good (Romans 8:28) and that He will sustain His people through trials. This resilience is often accompanied by a sense of hope, trust, and perseverance.

• Self-Reliance: While Christian faith encourages and requires reliance on God, it also promotes self-reliance. This means taking responsibility for one's actions, developing skills, and working diligently. It is a balance between dependence on God and personal initiative. The Bible often encourages self-discipline, hard work, and taking initiative (Proverbs 12:11, 14:23).

Ethos

Semper Fidelis is a Latin phrase that means "always faithful" or "always loyal". It is the motto of the United States Marine Corps, usually shortened to Semper Fi. 

The Eagle, Globe, and Anchor is the symbol of the Marine Corps, representing air, land, and sea. We have adopted the anchor with a cross to emphasize that we are "Anchored In Christ". Jesus Christ is the foundation of this organization, and we glorify Him in everything we do.
